If you were contacted this way using our name, it is not us. Do not send money, gift cards, wire transfers, or a deposit to anyone claiming to be Wayne's Auto Sales outside of this website or our lot in person.
How to tell a fake listing from the real business
It is likely a scam if...
- You were asked to pay before seeing the vehicle in person
- You were asked to wire money, send gift cards, or use a payment app to a stranger
- The seller says they cannot meet in person or the vehicle is "out of state" and needs to be shipped
- The listing uses the Wayne's Auto Sales name but a phone number or email you do not see on this site

If you already sent money to a fake listing
Report it as soon as possible. Acting quickly gives you the best chance of recovering funds, especially with a bank or payment app.

- Local policeFile a report with your local police department, or the Marion Police Department if the listing claimed to be our lot
